The lives of 25-year-old theology student Rebecca and her husband Kory, an ex-convict, are turned upside down: no sooner have they settled into their new life than Rebecca falls pregnant. Rebecca’s mother travels from Germany to spend three months with them and support the young couple. This is sorely needed, as a turbulent time full of challenges lies ahead: unexpected visits to A&E, a new job for Kory and a nerve-wracking home birth of their first daughter together, Liana Rae – yet God is by their side and continually gives the couple fresh courage.
