Miniseries (6×45′) commissioned by WDR for the ARD Mediathek.
Marie meets Luis at a carnival party and ends up in bed with him. The trainee teacher embarks on an affair with him without knowing about his sex addiction. Marie begins to have doubts about Luis after he is reported for sexual assault. Because he wants to try to change, she gives in to his desires. Coming soon to the ARD Mediathek.
Arabella Wintermayr (taz) writes about the premiere of “naked”: “And even in the series section, which is often neglected at film festivals, Munich dared to do something different. (…) In the “New German Television” section (…) it was, of all things, a public broadcaster production that showed the greatest narrative courage. (…) The series (naked) does not shy away from explicit scenes – nor from illuminating moral gray areas. The first two episodes, which were shown at the film festival, certainly delve deep into the ambivalence surrounding desire, physicality, and identity. Thus, the premiere of “naked” raises questions that German television generally does not dare to ask.”
